Our team of talented Editors and Reviewers are currently in the process of working through the review process, and we are very excited about publishing this next issue in June. The 2012 information package for HSI’s 3rd issue is now available: Click Here.  Please note that the deadline for submissions is February 10, 2012 and that the theme for this issue is obesity and diabetes.

We are also excited to announce that we will be partnering with the International Journal of Obesity for this next issue. As a result of this partnership, HSI will be offering the opportunity to be reviewed and possibly published in one of the most highly recognized obesity journals in circulation. More information about the submission process can found in the information package and our 2012 submission guidelines.

HSI Article Published in the CMAJ!

Timothy Buckland’s submission to Issue #2, entitled ‘Lost in Transition‘, has been published as a Salon piece in an upcoming issue of the CMAJ. Timothy’s article was one of three pieces selected by our nation-wide panel of faculty members, and was granted expedited review by the CMAJ as part of HSI’s partnership with the journal.
